Tiskre School – Sliding Boards and Board Solutions for a New School Building

On September 1, 2026, the Tiskre school community began the new school year in its new school building. The modern learning environment also includes custom-made board solutions designed and manufactured specifically for the project.

For Tiskre School, we manufactured a total of 31 Basic sliding board systems. All sliding boards were produced in custom sizes according to the project specifications, with each system consisting of multiple board elements. Screens and other equipment needed for teaching can be placed behind the boards and concealed from view when needed. This keeps the equipment readily accessible while allowing it to be hidden behind the sliding boards when not in use, helping to maintain a clean and organized appearance throughout the space.

In addition, we manufactured combined solutions featuring Hush Felt notice boards and Square marker boards. In total, 31 combinations were produced, each consisting of 3–5 custom-sized elements depending on the requirements of the individual room.

Combining two different board surfaces allows for different ways of presenting and displaying information within a single solution. Papers and other materials can be attached to the Hush Felt surface using push pins, while the marker board can be used for writing and drawing, as well as for attaching information with magnets. The Hush Felt Rough notice boards are finished in a neutral grey tone, with the Quartz shade complementing the interior of the new school building.

The solutions were also customized with specially designed details. Some of the boards feature a wave-shaped upper edge, creating a softer visual appearance when several elements are positioned next to each other. All combinations were manufactured according to the dimensions of the individual rooms and the specifications defined in the project.
